Upcoming March 4th Meeting
Our next general meeting is
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (downstairs)
814 N. Campbell Road, Royal Oak, MI 48067
(½ Mile east of I-75 between 11 & 12 Mile Roads)
SOAA meetings are held on Monday evenings, generally the first Monday of the month except when it falls on or just after a holiday. In that case, the meeting will be the second Monday of the month. We meet from September through June.
Guests are welcome and can attend up to 2 times before joining. Please feel free to join us at our next meeting.
Each meeting, except June, has an Artist of the Month exhibit. Each member can bring up to a total of 2 pieces of artwork to exhibit at the meeting. We accept 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional artwork and give awards in those two categories. All in attendence at the meeting vote for first, second, third and two honorable mentions from the 2-diminsional entries and first place for the 3-dimensional entries. Certificates are given to the winners – and we all get to enjoy each other’s artwork.
We also have refreshments, a business meeting as well as an interesting and informative program. We also hold a 50-50 raffle – 1 ticket for $1 or 5 tickets for $3.
