SOAA didn’t have to look far for our October speaker. We turned to our own newsletter editor, Ken Hank, who also happens to be a member of the prestigious Color Pencil Society of America. Ken describes his talent as storytelling through colored pencils. He has spent a better part of 40 years mastering this medium.
Ken displayed and discussed his talent. He will shared some great information, tips and clever tricks for anyone dealing with any form of color art. The membership was enthusiastic about his presentation.

We also held our first 50/50 raffle, which will go toward the purchase of new stands for our art shows. It was very successful and certainly our winner, Susan Massucci, found it worth her tickets.
We started a new format of announcements handouts and a table set up for sign-ups,
Here are some photos from our meeting.
